Debbie Moore DC LAc
Dr. Moore attended Parker College of Chiropractic Clinic in Dallas, Texas. She graduated in 2007 with two degrees: Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelors in Health and Wellness. She was previously licensed in Louisiana, but currently maintains licensure in Mississippi as a Chiropractor and as an Acupuncturist.
Dr. Moore attended American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Houston, Texas. She graduated in 2003 with a Masters in Oriental Medicine. She was previously a Licensed Acupuncturist in Texas and Florida, but currently maintains licensure in Mississippi. She was appointed by Governor Haley Barbour for the Mississippi Council of Advisors in Acupuncture, which works with the Mississippi Medical Board to administer the provisions of the Acupuncture Law. She was elected as the first Chairman of the Mississippi Council of Advisors in Acupuncture.
Dr. Moore did her undergraduate education at Tennessee State University and holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. She developed her skills as a problem solver and implemented supply chain improvements at a high organizational level when she worked at a Utility Company in Detroit, Michigan for almost 10 years before deciding to move into Natural Medicine.
Locally, Dr. Moore is a member of the Picayune Chamber of Commerce, the Exchange Club and Picayune Mainstreet. She is currently the President of the Picayune Minority Business Group.
Her family roots brought her back to Picayune. She is the granddaughter of Claiborne and Gladys Moore. Claiborne worked for the city and Gladys taught for the school system. Both of her parents Lela and Phillip Moore went to Carver. Dr. Moore has two sons (Jonathan and Robert) and attends Resurrection Life Church.
